Connect rooms with a considered flooring plan.
Mario continues to serve Puyallup from his current Yelm base. If you want flooring to connect several rooms, begin with the existing surfaces and floor heights—not just a preferred wood color.
Plan connections between rooms
With hardwood floor installation, doorways, adjoining tile, and existing wood flooring all affect the plan. Tell Mario whether you want to extend one floor or create a deliberate transition into a different material.
Product construction, subfloor conditions, and installation requirements should be reviewed before ordering. Our solid versus engineered wood guide provides a starting point for that conversation.
Assess the floor you already have
For worn areas, explore refinishing. Finishing only part of a connected floor can involve appearance differences at the boundary, so ask how the work would meet the surrounding areas.
If boards are damaged or a patch is needed, discuss repair & restoration first. Explain whether the cause has been resolved and show the surrounding floor in photographs, not just the damaged spot.
Discuss your Puyallup layout
Send room photographs, a simple description of how spaces connect, and your property location. Include whether you will be living in the home during the work and your preferred timing. Confirm assessment and scheduling arrangements with Mario.
